Tea Time, Not Tee Time (Which would have been better)

I went to visit my aunt in Dae Jeon again. If you readers remember, she was the one that would lock me inside the house so that I wouldn't go anywhere. Well she has finally eased up a bit and decided to give me the pass code to her building. However she wont tell me where any of the bars are so I'm still somewhat of a prisoner. Its fine though, I've been going a 100km/h for the last little bit, so a slow down period would be nice. I have been eating well at my Aunt's place and having a shower with some decent water pressure has been a blessing.

During dinner today I wanted to have a beer with my meal but there was none in the fridge (I should cut back on the beers anyways, I don't want to get a gut). But my aunt said not to worry we were gonna have tea. And I was like,

"TOTALLY AWESOME, YAY!!!!! TEA, just what I wanted!!!".

As you can tell I was being super sarcastic. I hate tea. It's just bitter hot water for god sakes. Why do people love it so much?

So my aunt invited her friends and decided to have a tradition tea ceremony. By the way, a tradition tea ceremony is like 2 hours long and all you do is drink a crap load of hot bitter water with a whole bunch of awkward silent moments in between each pour.

As the ceremony went on my Aunt asked if I wanted to take some pictures. Muwaha HA HA HA Big mistake on my Aunt's part. Oh boy, I totally ruined the Zen like calm of that room by firing away with my flash and getting in real close with my wide angle.

On a side note, I know I bashed tea drinking in this entry but my Aunt had some seriously powerful Chinese tea and I one point I felt a bit high and a bit light headed. Overall the experience wasn't bad. In fact, I would recommend you try it, but with people you actually want to sit next too.
