You might be asking, "Youn, what is T-money?"
Basically it is an instant debit card that uses RFID signal to pay for things. So for instance, your cell phone can have a small chip placed in it or you can buy a cute keychain with the RFID chip in it and then you can pay for things just by swiping your phone/keychain by it. It is a wicked system for paying for things in Korea. All you have to do is charge up the card at many convenient locations and then you can pay for taxi, buses, vending machines, public phones and even meals with the T-Card.
The best part of T-Money is how wicked it works in the transit system, it is so fast and everyone uses it so there are never any line ups getting into the subway. Toronto TTC could learn a thing or two from this system.
