Im not being racist here. Ok maybe just a little bit. But Joe and Erick pointed out something that was really funny. When we talk about foods black people love to eat, what comes to your mind?
I bet you said, "friend chicken, waffles, watermelon" or something similar.
Being in Korea for the last 3 weeks, my consumption of those 3 items have been through the roof. For all you Koreans reading this blog, really think about it. How many times has your parents bought watermelon during the summer months over the span of your life. I bet a lot. How many times have you eaten KFC over Mcdonalds in the last year? Im just saying that the stereotype of loving fired chicken and watermelon should be ours.
Another stereotype is how BBQing is and American thing. I have never seen so many different ways of grilling my meat till I came to Seoul. I have had wood logs that have been charcoaled, coal charcoal, butane, rotating spits and electric.
